ERA Chair team visited the Organic farm Džakula

ERA Chair team researchers, accompanied by the project coordinator prof. Vladimir Mrljak and prof. Damir Žubčić (Internal Diseases Clinic of FVM), visited on Friday 17th February 2017 organic farms Džakula near Sunja (Sjeverovac). The aim of the meeting was to establish cooperation with the manager of the family farm, and the consultations related to the issue of organically grown farm animals, in order to commence joint preparation and application of structural projects. Owner and manager of the family farm and a veterinarian, Rodoljub Džakula, informed the members of ERA Chair team with the methods of animal breeding, feeding, diseases and environmental problems in the livestock, and expressed interest in cooperation in terms of improved production, by using modern methodology and technology available within the VetMedZg laboratory.
